Hear Aid Assistance
Charles City Lions accepts referrals from area audiologists. Visit your local hearing clinic to get an exam, and ask them to make a referral to the Charles City Lions Club.
Then, download the Hearing Application below, fill it out, and submit it to a Lions Club member, or at our next meeting.
Policy
Qualified candidates will be reviewed by the board and the Charles City Lions will pay half the fitting costs for adults and full fitting costs for children.
Eyeglasses Assistance
The Charles City Lions Club eye glass assistance program will serve students in the Charles City Community School District, referred to us by the school nurse.
Policy
The Charles City Lions Club will pay for a 'Budget' pair of frames and glasses from The Optometric Center in Charles City. Families should demonstrate financial need to the school nurse to be involved in the program.
